I have a conspiracy theory, here goes,
Mr Adam Pearson buy's Hull, Neil Hudgell has close links with Adam Pearson via Hull City, a coversation transpires,
Neil Hudgell...." Adam now you own Hull can I suggest you get rid of Agar, he is pants, however Justin Morgan is an excellent coach, his time has come to a natural end with Hull KR but will do a good job for you !"
Adam Pearson...." But isnt he under contract ? how much will it cost me in compensation ?!
Nel Hudgell....." Dont worry about that Adam I wont request any" (nowing full well it will save Hull KR paying JM off)
Neil Hudgell.... "Why dont you offer Agar Director of Rugby, he wont accept he's to stubborn, so offer that to John Kear,Agar will go to Wakey, everyones happy !"

Fair point. Next level with a bigger club, more money to spend and no interference from upstairs. Sounds tempting from Morgans point of view but not sure it will happen though. |

Wouldn't be my choice, but I'd be curious to see how he did. He did an excellent job at Rovers taking an NL club and making them an established SL side, but then stalled at mid-table competing for the playoffs (still no shabby feat). Would be interesting to find out if that was his limit or Rovers'. Would possibly be an expensive risk for someone who may have already plateaued at a level not much better than we already are. |
