| I don,t hate the coach, never could & can understand why he won,t walk away(Who on these forums would chuck a job where they are massively overpaid for their talents). My plea is to the club to wake up & smell the coffee & get our GREAT club back where we know we belong.

It's a fair point you make, some people seem to think he can just walk away and into another well paid Super League coaching job.
Unfortunately, not only from his point of view, but ours too, it's not that easy.
Just look at the likes of Darryl Powell and Karl Harrison, who were Super League coaches and now no one will touch them with a barge pole.
Even a very successful Coach like Noble is not guaranteed a job.
He probably still believes he can become a successful Super League coach and we may be his only chance to prove it.
I don't hate him either, I feel sorry for him in a way. I feel more sorry for us though.
It's up to AP to make the decision the majority of the fans want, not Agar.

| I have been going to watch FC since the late 1970's but made the decision at the end of last season that I would not go again or spend any money at the club until Agar is no longer in charge, there were five of us that made the same decision. I used the saved money to fund Sky Sports and HD. A much better investment than watching 80 mins of boring rugby with no tactics or interchange policies etc. etc. etc.

So if Agar goes, will you bin Sky Sports and start going to Hull again?

Probably cos they're shiiite at coaching. If Agar walks out or gets the boot and no club offers him a job, then clearly it's obvious he's not good enough! Maybe he might just take the hint and change career direction.
Did i read that Andy Last does all the oppo video work etc? A failed hooker who we took on cos he was a 'local load' - jeez there is no wonder we're crap!
Said it for the last 2 seasons, get rid of the lot and start again. Give an Aussie coach a the chance to bring in his own backroom staff.

| i might take jake the pegs advice, and write a letter to A.P.personaly,but would he be interested in one mans point of view, unless he was inundated with personal mail, from all the fans who feel the same about agar?2 years ago i wrote to james rule ,and asked why they renewed agars contract so early in the season, and the reply was, because he and the board thought that he was the man for the job.

| Im in the directors box for the Cats game, which will be my last Hull FC game as I'm moving to Melbourne in October (i miss the Wire game due to a holiday). I'll be telling Mr Pearson exactly what i think about my club and how far its fallen in the past few years. At 31, my 26 years of watching Hull FC with my Dad have been some of the greatest times in my life. I just hope that when I leave, it will be in the knowledge that this great club will kick on a become a force again.
Lastly, I'll be telling Mr Pearson that the only way we can move forward is to get rid of the terrible coaching team we have.

Yes, Sky Sports will be cancelled and we'll be back in the East Stand.

Do us a favour and print this thread (and similar ones) off and give to him, will you? Could you also explain the very basic principle that in the salary cap era the coach is the biggest differentiator between teams' on field performances? Cheers. Hope at some point you need an expensive holiday in the UK last weekend in August.

| Its a shame supporters are staying away because of Agar. I would never dream of staying away from the Club I love because of a Coach! I don`t think Agar is the man to take us forward but lets realise he has had to sort out the mess of Kear and Sharp`s terrible recruitment and retention.
I think he will be in charge next season . AP will set him some targets to meet and hopefully support him financially to bring quality players in . Agar at the moment is a hangover from the old regime . Kath made sure he was OK by giving him a 2 year deal .
Pearson is no fool he will get rid of Agar if targets are not met . For now though he will give him a chance.

| Agar's as good as gone, Pearson will be sweeping the brush through the club and getting rid of all that was before him including plenty of the dead wood players that coco clown Agar signed.

What lies has he told BTW? And I mean genuine falsehoods, not numpty pronouncements, flannel, and general stuff you may disagree with?'"
I don't hate him, but I don't see were simply knowing him or not would/could/should stop a person from hating a person?

So you dont think agar is the man to take us forward, but adam pearson should? maybe he should give him another contract extension, to carry on his sterling work of clearing kear and sharps mess up too and exactly how long should he give him to see if he can meet his targets?yes it is a crying shame that supporters are staying away because of the coach..whats that telling you?
