Quote: Rogues Gallery "Yes, Yeaman struck Joel Tomkins three times before the sending off. Sam Tomkins came in and hit Yeaman after Yeaman had hit Joel (same incident)

If Ganson had done his job and sin binned Joel and Yeaman, the second incident would never have happened.'"

of course not, but by the same token, if tomkins hadnt of decided to raise his elbow into yeamans face then the incident would never of happened either, he has to be responsible for his own actions

So if someone hits a Tomkins, the other is allowed to steam in and stick up for his brother?

The sooner someone puts them both in their place, the better

I posted this in July last year comparing Joel Tompkins disciplinary record with Tickle's. I was saying then that he got away with murder and he continues just the same. Everyone knows what he is but a blind eye is turned both in games , at the game review panel and at Red hall. More than likely he'll get not guilty again and they'll take his exemplorary record into account!!

www.therfl.co.uk/about/disciplin ... rch=search
See above link for Tompkins record since 01/01/09. 15 appearances and no bans!

Below is Tickle's
www.therfl.co.uk/about/disciplin ... rch=search

The offences were at least as bad as each other and in my view Tompkins late challenge was cynical and dangerous
Ridiculous..........as expected.

The Tompkins one in this case was when he hit Myler late just after he'd scored. He had loads of time to pull out but went in with his knees , RFL panel didn't have enough evidence though despite it being on Sky.

Isn't that the same RFL panel that gave the same reason for not charging O'Loughlin after he planted is foot in a Quins players chest (while they were both standing) once?

Quote: Neil HFC "Oddly enough everyone sees that aside from wigan fans. He's a great player, but really needs to cut the petulant side of things down,.'"

Would happily place money on him never having the balls to go try Australia out for size as Burgess/Ellis have done and Morley before them, big fish syndrome as far as I can see. He has a bucket load of talent, that is plain for all to see, but I think he would be a far better player with just a touch of humility.

Quote: FCTID "TBF there's a few Pie eaters out here who think they've got too big for their boots, last year JT threw Tom Briscoe to floor at KC after they'ed scored, it was then i thought what a tw"t!!!!'"

I remember that incident too. Personally I dont see how JT can be excused because Ganson didn't deal with things after the first incident, lets face it to be a great player you also have to be smart and I think that this obviously shows that JT is more than a touch thick and is without the required nous to go much further in the game. Can anyone out there who's old enough imagine that Knocker would have done anything as blatantly obvious expecting to get away with it, no, he would have bided his time and sorted things long after the original incident had gone from the refs memory.

Quote: XBrettKennyX "Tomkins was stupid to take the ball in from the penalty. Whether it deserved a red or not who knows, certainly a penalty. I couldn't tell from where I was sat and you lot were at the other end of the pitch so I am damm sure none of you could honestly say it was high!

As for the rest of your tactics. Well, you were lying on the tackle (in fairness no worse than Wigan) but you were hardly whiter than white.

I lost count the amount of high shots on ST that went unpunished.'"

yes from where i was sat in the Hull end i saw quite a few too, all on our players, Horne, Phelps and Sharp spring to mind which also went unpunished so fair dinkum. its a tough game.

The intent in the J.Tomkins elbow can be proved by the fact it was the tackle after the fight and he made a b-line for Yeaman, the video is on SLTV, doesn't show the fight just the next drive.Looks nasty but I'll bet on it only being a 1-2 match ban at most.

S.Tomkins is the worst of the two, Joel is dirty but Sam is a cheat. He's bringing football tactics into RL, feigning injury, diving, holding on to defenders in tackles and generally being an annoying little sh11t. Along with Briers and his imaginary card waving these tactics have no place in RL. Shame as he has all the talent in the world but someone will put him in his place soon, gettting far too big for his boots.

There is an irony in all this though as I remember a certain FC poster even had a Tomkins avatar when he emploed these tactics on us last year, shame you can't bookmark those..

Extended highlights on SL tv. Great stuff after Sam Tomkins storms to help out his brother, Radders holds his by the scruff of the neck and he paps himself big time! Cocky little sh*t.

I don't think anyone has ever suggested that, FC hate Paul, for good reason.
