Two months ago we didn't know we would have to sack Tansey.
Sammut was interested in coming and it very nearly happened. When it didn't we moved quckly to sign Phelps who was obviously Plan B all along.
Why is that a shambles?
And signing Moore would be agood move too. |

if zidane was any good why did totenham not sign him. If dobson was any good he wouldnt have been released etc etc.
Whilst you guys are short in cover at HB (which Phelps can play), imo its Rules job to go get the cover when Agar has clearly highlighted as an area he wants strenghtening.
In the last couple of years you have recruited (Long, Fitz and O'Meley who have WC backgrounds, Moa and Lauki who the fans seem to like, plus Westerman, Sharp and Turner who all are meant to have very good futures. Now you get Phelps who is a proven tryscorer in a position of weakness for you yet you still complain.
I cant see why Wayne Bennett wouldnt join such a positive club

Everyone knew berrigan was leaving. It was all over the internet and people were posting it on here before the season finished.
I haven't said westerman and sharp are poor signings, I said our recruitment hasn't addressed the squad needs. Do you disagree?
And here's a bit of 20:20 vision for you - we'll spend half the season at least with only 1 fit half back and have a back rower playing there which will see us in the same position as we've been in since 2007. To compound that, we've only 1 hooker which leaves us very vulnerable

I just love your childish digs.... bully for you  with your pathetic Agar in a bin picture. Your opinion is as valuable as anyone else's on here but you continue to post the same one every time. Why not have an automatic post that fires it off onto every thread at regular intervals. We get the message - you don't rate the board and you don't rate Agar and you don't rate anyone who disagrees with you. There, I've sorted out your posts for the next 12 months. You can take a holiday now.

Westerman wasn't available but we got him in the end, you have to aim high.
Delighted with the Phelps signing. He was excellent at wigan and was particularly good at fullback so I think he will be a like for like replacement for Tansey. He was underrated during his time at Wigan but SL fans but Wigan fans will tell you how good he was for them.
Also he can cover centre, wing and the halves. His best asset is linking into the line and also his distribution plus he plays with bundles of enthusiasm. |

I wonder if you would ever be happy with anything the club did or any player they bought 
still i suppose as SBW decided to stay where he was phelps was the only other option huh
