Not necessarily. I don't think we have a squad that's capable of winning SL. However good or bad you think Agar is, until we get a half back combo that spends more time on the pitch than on the treatment table and a winger to replace Calderwood (who seems to be on his way out), we don't stand much chance of winning anything.

Mate, if I'd seen any level of consistency, or even irregular games where we've looked really top notch then I'd agree. As it is, I can count on the fingers of one hand the games where I believe we've had a team performing to their full potential under agar. Unfortunately, this number is far outweighed by the number of games where we've failed to turn up and lost when there was every reason to belive we should have won. The fact is that we have won a few games this season that we'd have lost last, but the general level of performance hasn't been great and at our best we've looked some way short of wire, wigan, leeds, hudds and saints when they've clicked.

Now can you tell me if you believe that agar regulalry gets the best out of the players available at the club?

all 5 have improved again this season.fitz and ogre also,but considering who they are i wont count them.jordan turner is improving as the season goes on,and the same with sam moa.

a big name coach does not automatically guarantee success.yes,it may improve your chances,but we need stability,not yet more change.our injuries have been a nightmare yet again.i doubt many other teams,would cope like we have.the short time leeds were without sinfield,they struggled,and were losing games.saints without both their hb's aren't the same.wigan and wire have been relatively lucky with injuries,especially compared to us.maybe we haven't played ''entertaining '' rugby but we have performed with what we have had most of the time.how many times have our hb's played together?

Nope don't think so - it's because at Leeds he started working with players that were classes above those he worked with at Huddersfield. He was, of course, a decent coach at Huddersfield (as he has gone on to prove) just didn't have the ammo. I only deal in facts - the facts were he got Hudds relegated and lost a shed load of games in the Championship. He lost a few games at Leeds too - one in Cardiff against a far from world class John Kear IIRC. None of this has anything to do with Agar - just pointing out that the WORLD CLASS Tony Smith didn't always have it his own way when working with lesser players.
