Cant remember it will have to watch it again, thought it was Long from memory.
Made the odd mistake but overall played well, solid, good go foward and our top tryscorer.
Still doesnt get the ball in the right places, just runs from dummy half.
Will aveto wait for the trys to see if he at fault for the trys today.

Did the same again today according to Blunderside with the same result.
TBF I think he suffers the same as whoever plays on the other wing with our sliding defence not sliding properly.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Long had him coverd and Briscoe came in as well.....misread the play which is what Hall gets slagged off for.

Quite possibly, but where? I'm a big fan of Whiting, but I'm not quite convinced he'd do the job at stand-off. If Manu and Lauaki are back for Saints could you really justify leaving out one of our backrowers for it?
Quote: Dave K. "Couple of errors from Briscoe today, but has been good in the last few games.'"
He's looked good with the ball, but he's every bit the defensive liability as Hall with his decision-making and inability under the high ball. He's another who's not learning and improving certain aspects of his game IMO yet most seem either blind to this or ignore it and prefer to lay into the usual suspects instead.
Quote: Dave K. "Be interesting the see what the fans at the game have to say about him.'"
Certainly will.

| Postives for me.
We have a some very key players out.
But we won 2 games that we lost at the start of the season.
Big test will be Saints, not even the result but how we peform.

So if Briscoe and Hall arent learning...whos fault is it or can the person only see it it 1 player.

I'm pretty sure that Agar doesnt tell them both to tackle the wrong man or drop the ball.

He's not the only one who seems to think that way though is he? And TBH, Hall really has not done himself any favours at all this year. I've backed him since he first emerged but quite frankly he's been poor for most of this season and I'm starting to question whether he's ever going to deliver.

No, but he (and the rest of the coaching staff) really should have worked on their positional play enough to see some improvement by now. And with you mentioning dropping the ball, Briscoe should also have been given plenty of practice to get better under the high ball too.

| Well, that was better than last year.
O'Meley played a shedload of minutes today - what a warrior he is. A horrible completion rate in the first half and not fantastic quality, but once we cut the errors out we looked pretty comfortable. Good effort by Dowes today as well. And better from Tansey who's been a bit ordinary of late. Lovely interception from Long and quite funny at the end when he packed down with the Cas forwards.

I'm sorry but whatever you think of Agar and the coaching staff they will be practising these things.
In fact I know they do

Agar's just been on Blunderside and said he played 67 minutes and could probably have managed 77 if needed. Tremendous signing.

In that case there are only two possible conclusions...
1. We're doing the wrong drills.
2. Hall and Briscoe are as stupid as stumps.
