| Quote: Mrs Barista "Correct about the squad, although I'd be happy enough with the halves if both were ever presents -it's the injuries that are the key factor there. Backline is one of the weakest in the comp IMO, but not surprising given the choice to go a season with one specialist winger - lunacy.
This is Agar's squad, and that's the point, it's a reflection of his choices. Thinking about the players we've got signed up for next season, I can only think of the following that a top club would be interested in having
Totally agree about Long and Horne, Washbrooke and Turner are not half backs. With different half backs Yeaman and Briscoe would be far better than they look now.

Mind you dont cut yourself with the sharpness of your wit. Everyone knew except 80% of people on here, Oh and the Hull board and coaching staff. Why would pay for a player for 2 years who was a high fitness risk IF they knew he would be a crock.

| This has to be worse then watching a peter walsh side! I for one am glad i didnt purchase a season pass on the basis i believed performances wouldn,t drastically improve from last season hindsights a wonderful thing!! I for one will pick n choose my games from now on , i,ve had enough of being sold short by the club. The club doesn,t deserve the supporters it has and for me they are leading em on a wild goose chase with false promises. Have we seen a improved side under the squad that richard agar has assembled? I think not, agar has a good record of turning a good players into a bad ones, this is his squad that he assembled so he should be accountable for this mess, how he warrented a 2 year extension is beyond me. obviously the cheap option once again delivered by the club.
We are once again becoming the laughing stock and most overrated team in superleague.

One of many.
IMO given our track record on dealing with this sort of thing and the fact that the offence took place in 2008, we could probably have done better and handled things more pro-actively. Also Raynor was still on our books until late December 2009 when the whole squad was in place. Seeing that he signed pretty much straightaway for Crusaders, I would think that most of his chunk of the salary cap is available. In which case why not go in for Ainscough or Penny (as examples)?

| Quote: carl_spackler "I'm pleading with all those out there who otherwise consider it an act of disloyalty, but can't enough of us just stay away? I honestly can't think of any other way for us to get the club to take notice. It's glaringly obvious that so long as they keep taking money, they're happy with that, as all Rule ever does when confronted is spin things around to the off the field success. Enough is enough, we need to vote with our feet until the board realise we want something on-field worth watching.'"
With that sort of performance becoming the norm I'm becoming increasingly disinterested. I used arrange my weekends around FC games but now I feel I've got better things to do. Unless things improve drastically I can't see myself going to many more games this season.

It's about this time of the season (for four or five consecutive seasons now) that I'm am just so glad that I don't buy a pass. I will certainly choose my games, as I already have been for a month or so, and I even have the choice to stop going altogether until our club is rid of this total retarded fckwit that calls himself a coach.

Wether you rate him as a coach or not to call him a f wit is poor form, if he's not good enough fine let the board sort it out.
But the bloke however talented gives his best.

If he had anything about him whatsoever, he would walk now and give our massive club to someone who has a clue what to do with it.
As far as language goes, I would have probably agreed with you a few weeks ago but I'm now way passed politeness with him now ! I just want rid of this clown from our club and I don't care what happens to hasten his departure.

so giving his best is being watched at half time live on tv walking around the changing room hands in pocket, head down not saying a word, ,a la Wakefield last week then? If that's giving his best, what would be giving his worst. He's already admitted to not doing video analysis, bothering with the opposition in how it plays and the danger men they possess.
And as for the board, well, the reason Agar is in charge is because if the board were actually forced to go and find a proper coach who knew what he was doing , then they wouldn't have a yes man to boss around. Agar must be thinking, this coaching is an easy life, no matter how crap I am at it, the board will still give me a 2 year extension.

Did you say it about all the other players that have been injured as well ?
