| If Yeaman had Hall's natural flair, and passing ability,
and Hall had Yeaman's solid defence, then we'd have a pretty good centre partnership.
In my opinion, too many of our youngsters haven't had their potential maximised.
I hope come October, that we finally appoint a coach who can improve, existing players at the club.
The same job, done by Nathan Brown and more recently Michael Maguire.

| Let's try sign Graham Murray, unless he's getting the England job.

how much do you think we've got? For their next contract in oz they'll be looking around the 200,000 to 300,000 mark.
With the current exchange rates we've got no chance. And that's before we look at the quota.

| Quote: Rupert Pupkin "How long now has Agar been overlooking Hall's career?
Agar has had long enough to be able to judge Hall as a player and it looks like he doesn't rate him as highly as some. I personally think Hall should be the starting right centre at the club.'"
Looking at this season, the coach has been choosing between Whiting (aged 24) and Hall (aged 21). Whiting has played consistently well so far, Hall hasn't. Agar is here to win games not to pamper to any individual. Hall had a shocker last week by all accounts, which is supported by the highlights I have seen, so if he had been picked instead of Whiting there'd have been plenty on here calling for Agar's blood.
If Hall continues to put the work in and continues to develop, he'll get his chance.

Hall might pass the ball but the number of times those passes go behind players, into touch or just to ground is too high. This is something he really needs to work on. He has certainly improved his defence but still threw the pass behind Whiting at Wigan at a key point in the match with the line at Hull's mercy. Yeaman passes when he doesn't put the winger into trouble. I think the Yeaman "never passes" thing is out-dated.

| hall for me. i think hes a much better player all round. yeaman really annoys me when he trys to do his signature tackle and it doesnt come off, then the player just off loads it. he must do this 5ish times a game.

| Craig Hall is the RL equivalent of Matt Le Tissier. I always think there should be room for this type of player who can make something out of nothing, whatever the sport. Just my opinion and I appreciate that some people would take the view that solidity in a team sport is more important than flair.
Hall's still only 22 though and I think provided he gets a run in his natural position of centre, he'll go on to have a decent career with us.
One thing that gets overlooked is that Hall's place kicking is great. FC are blessed right now with great kickers in Tickle and Fitzgibbon (I believe every single kick bar two has been made this season and both of the missed ones hit the post!!!) At Widnes, he went straight into the team and racked up points galore from the boot - in many teams he'd be the first choice kicker. It's only at Hull that he's the third choice.
In years to come, his boot could be a further plus together with his centre play.

| Oh well we wont need to have this debate next season as Ive just been reading on their site that Hall is nailed on for Rovers along with about 15 other of our lads.
I do hope they leave us enough players for maybe a 6 aside on West park !!
