IMO the options are...

1, plod along as we are until the end of 2011 and watch him retire after more and more weary appearances for hull fc

2, give him enough games to play with sean long to see if there is any 'chemistry' there for horne to be effective and bounce back

3, send him on loan

4, put him on a weight gain diet including pies and chip butties and hope he can still run fast and side-step

5, sell him to rovers (on hire purchase) and see if he can play with cooke

We all do Paul, it would be the first time in a long time though. I understand it is boring but the fact remains it is a major concern, a player in a pivotal spot who is indeed one of the top earners, undperforming and still getting selected.

Well he did well in the Rovers friendly, and against Saints. Was a bit quieter against Hudds but it was a dour kind of a game. He was poor on Sunday but then again a lot of the side were.

Disgaree, he was poor in the Rovers friendly, (his defence),and was indeed substituted, like you say he was ok in Saints, I assure you I would like nothing better than Rich to hit his straps again, however I doubt he will and I am starting to believe it is the psychological effects of his injury, if you watch him the majority of the time he tackl,s opponents up top, not below any-more, the problem is he does not have the strength to do this so is batted off, and the fact remains he will be one of the higher paid SO's in SL.
