| This Raynor one won't seem to go away. IF he left, what would everyone's thoughts be? Personally he's been a good servant but wouldn't be too upset if he left due to him being probably been on a fair wack and we have Calderwood/Briscoe to play on the wing.

I've heard this rumour a fair bit. As much as I like Raynor he hasn't been the same since his injury, plus he is supposed to like a drink, allegedly.

thing about raynor is that he will be a top earner and he is the wrong side of 30
but still a good player in my opinion...but he will be forced out as we need to play hall and briscoe...yeaman is a cert as always and calderwood has been as good as anyone this year in my opinion....also makes me wonder how bad that toe injury still is!! bearing in mind that raynor himself asked the doctors for a second opinion when they said he was finished!!

Agreed, unless the centre is well and truly awesome ie Hodges.

| I still think we need strengthening in the backs.
In 2004 our first choice 1-5 was: Prescott, Best, Barnett, Eager, Raynor (Yeaman covering injury).
2006 we had: Briscoe, Blacklock, Domic, Yeaman, Raynor.
2010 (as it stands): Tansey, Calderwood, Hall (or T.Briscoe), Yeaman, Raynor.
Tansey is quite inexperienced in that position, Yeaman hasn't been too good for the past couple of years, Calderwood and more so Raynor are both getting on.

| I'd be disappointed if Raynor left, still a top player and should be playing for England.

wouldnt go that far, my opinion he's a good player but he's past his best..i think hall and afew oothers would have something to say about the england wing spot...

| The only reason I'd like to see Raynor go is if he's part of the problems behind the scenes. His recent conviction tends to make me think that he's not exactly a choir boy, but I don't know whether he's a fundamental part of the problem in the same way as certain others.

If Raynor had had Keith Senior or Martin Gleeson as his centre for the past 5 or 6 years he'd have been leading try scorer most seasons, as it is since Cooke left he's had to feed off scraps. Defensively one of the best English wingers, still got his speed, carries the ball back well and looks for work and apart from his time at Leicester is Hull through and through, given an injury free season and some decent half backs, I'd back him to score 15 plus tries next season.

Senior only learned how to pass to his winger this year and Gleeson has been cack for long enough. I see your point though...

dunno about that i thought senior made calderwood in 2004, like he has made ryan hall this season
it's a shame we haven't gifted raynor more trys in the last few seasons because with his potential he should be putting away 15+ per season. quality player with lack of service
