Wish we would keep Lee and feel Maloney hasnt been given a fair crack of the whip after looking promising imo. Tony looked a shadow of his former self and you can tell he has been very badly affected by injuries and he just cant be kept on. The rest, nothing personal but based on performances I'm very glad

There was an interesting comment from Tony Smith in League Express this week regarding Danny Tickle. He denied Tickle was on his way to Wolves but said:
"I believe that Danny would like to get back over to this side of the country. Have there been enquiries from his side? Probably. But it is not going to happen."

what is maloney supposed to have done wrong? when he came to FC the article said that other SL clubs were after him. one year later he's no longer a hot prospect and he's gone ?! don't make sense. plus he has had very little game time so implies he has pi$$ed someone off |

I don't think Maloney has been given a fair crack of the whip, unless he hasn't been cutting it in training or something else has gone on we don't know about.
I do believe that if this clear out is to be a success the club needs to be ruthless and there is no room for sentiment. Tommy Lee may be a tryer and have had his best season for years but he's still not good enough IMO. |
