| Nsemba against Cartwright going to be a great match up. Nsemba is potentially the best second rower in the league even at such a young age, and Cartwright is massively underrated by opposition fans in my opinion. An absolute machine in defence and a really hard player to handle and put down.

Hopefully Hardaker back for this one so he's goes back in the centre for me and Rapana to full back.
Eseh and Watts cannot feature so otherwise no changes from Thursday.
I cannot see anything but a Wigan win but I would expect a better account of ourselves compared to the game in round 2.
Not often we agree but if Hardaker is fit and Rapana available then he has to move back to full back. Completely wasted in the centre Like the Leigh game i was in the minority when i said it would be a lot closer then people predicted and i think this game will be the same. We know their dangermen but we have some size and power now in the front row and a fit Cartwright shows what we have been missing in the second row. Cant see a win but it wouldnt surprise me if we pulled it off

| Club have reduced tickets to £10 for adults and are now providing free travel.
Good incentive and fair play for the offer but doing this with 3 days notice isn't ideal, would've been better doing it from the start.

Wasn't going to go, but with that offer introduced its a no brainer...must have been a few take ups on coach travel from the club, 4 away games on the bounce is going to stretch anyone's budget, sure it will be easy enough to get a refund for those who have already paid...so well done Wigan and Fc reducing game admission and Fc for offering free travel

That would be my 17 to be fair and depends just how ready Hardaker is to play 80mins as to whether I'd go with Moy or Hutchison on the bench. If Hardaker 100% and there's no issue to him being able to do 80mins I'd go with Hutchison, Rapana definitely improves us at FB and Hutchison although only had limited time on the field in the time he's had he has shown up well so far.

| If we can show the same passion and commitment that we did against Leigh and get a fair crack from the clown in the middle (I say this without knowing who it is, which is an indication of the quality of officiating in the domestic game), then I'd like to think we can keep it to a 12-18 point loss. Since their defeat to Leigh, Wigan have spanked everyone by 40+ so I'd be ok with that. I think we lack the quality and pace in the backs to win it but I'd be delighted if we were able to grind out a win. Head: Wigan by 18, Heart: Hull by 4. Not happy about Fash being in the 17 but the side is picking itself at the minute due to injuries and a lack of squad depth.

| This game almost amounts to a free hit for us. Let's face it, no one is expecting anything other than a Wigan victory (including most of the faithful on here), so we can go out and give it our best shot.
The longer we can stay in the contest the more emboldened we will become and the greater our chances will become of pulling off a cup upset. It's making sure we don't simply get blown away in first forty minutes that's the key.
Ultimately, it's difficult not to conclude that Wigan possess too much firepower for us to contain them for long enough, but hopefully we will see a continuation of the attitude and commitment we've seen from everyone so far and we will make Wigan earn the victory if nothing else. Heart says cup upset for Saturday night viewing, head says a gallant performance in defeat to the best side in the game right now. Either way it's onward and forward for the Fc in 2025.

Fash had a good game last weekr when he came on and played prop.
He did okay without much go forward … but still managed to give away that ridiculous penalty which lead to an Armstrong try.
