Thursday night will knock off 3/4000 so your estimate is about right'"
I think with the combination of it being a Thursday night, price of tickets and the restriction in tickets I’d say we’ll be doing well to get above 16K.
Think what will save the attendance is the fact it’s the opening game.
Was quite shocked when I was asked to get a ticket for someone online to see it saying £32 for one ticket.

| Quote HU8HFC="HU8HFC"Got to say I was taken back at seeing £34 to sit in the East Stand.
Plenty of tickets for £24 - £28 in other areas of the ground but I can't help but think that's a bit steep if it's going to be the price throughout the season.'"
I've got a pass so I don't know how much tickets usually are but £34 to sit in the East Stand seems way over the top.
I might be wrong but didn't we have a ticket promotion for the last derby which boosted the crowd to over 20k?
I'm also pretty sure the opening game of the last two seasons against Saints and Cas had ticket offers as well.
With all the new players and opening the season with a derby we should be looking to pack in as many as possible and create a great atmosphere.

The clubs lack of marketing expertise comes to the fore once again
The interest from both clubs fans for this coming season due to all the new players that will appear and given its the opening fixure of the season make this the most anticipated derby for years.
Even the fact its a Thursday night fixture which will always effect the gate.the club have missed a real chance to pack out the stadium and not having a limited number of promotion tickets available to try and get some newcomers in simply lacks marketing, and the club look like they cant be bothered and would rather go the other way and increase some ticket prices to improve revenue rather than trying fill the stadium

The club, unfortunately, due to mindless Rover's idiots, also now has to fund extra staff and policing.
I can see why they've increased prices to cover costs and to maximise their income in what I'd hope would be a sell out.
Hopefully fans will come with optimism and excitement to see our new signings in the first game of the season.
Also the best team in SL are visiting us, that should put a few extra bums on seats.

I'd guess they will do the 'members double' offer of two extra tickets for £5 each for the London game which is next up at home.

| The Rovers fans who threw bottles etc from the west upper are morons pure and simple. I was in the west upper front row and had to dodge a few misplaced missiles that fell short so I'm not going to defend those idiots at all.
It's going to cost you lot financially. LOADS of Rovers fans like me buy tickets off Hull FC because we prefer the side on view but this time despite having a previous buying history and a customer number I was told that I need to buy another product such as the Scott Taylor testimonial.
I've decided to decline that offer and watch on TV.

Id say in 2024 £30 for top level sport is probably the norm
Cost of everything has gone up
I went to an restaurant for a meal last month and paid over £20 without drinks
Cinema is over £10 for a film
Bowling apparently expensive family who went over the weekend said
A taxi to town costs over £15 on a Friday/Saturday night

| Cant decide whether to go. Tbh last seasons 42-0 tonking by Rovers is the biggest factor, theyve got a better team, weve got a worse one, just think its gonna be another embarrassment and waste of money

We beat them since then
Rovers currently have a better team
Will they win anything next season? No chance imo
Linnett and Kenny dowall are big losses
