Think that’s one of the problems within the club the attitude is all wrong with too many of them. Granted he has a contract with the club but if he is refusing to move think that shows his attitude is wrong and not a player you need in a squad. Any player that would rather sit out a contract rather than move to play regular rugby just shows where the commitment is.

Bit daft if Cas are offering him a longer deal

Dan Smith was a decent prospect in his youth. He's developed into a solid pro, but hasn't really fulfilled his potential.

Can't just play under sized youngsters and it's not a great enviroment to bring therm in, I'm all for seeing younger players play but just because reserves/academy are winnig it's still a massive step up, although I'd like to see one of Gardiner or Laidlaw play.

If he doesn't want to play 9 , Then it doesn't leave many options open for him .

Is this just another rumour that Lovodua refuses to play 9 or is there actually substance behind it? The press release from when we signed him makes it clear from both club and player that he is primarily a hooker.

Probably just a rumour , Id find it hard to see we sign a player ( International one ) who doesn't want to play in that position .
That said , If there's a chance we can come to some sort of arrangement to move him on , Then we should .
