I want to see us show a bit of fight and show a bit more promise with ball in hand, but the results dont matter. If we have a repeat of 2015 where we lose 6/7 but come away with plenty of positives then I am fine with that.

Because we live in the goldfish bowl that is Hull FC, nothing’s simple. Rumours of Radford’s demise or Pearson losing interest or dressing room unrest abound. Radford can’t make wholesale changes so he’s got to go with who’s available and a lot of those players are walking on one leg. Confidence is almost nonexistent, so the Super 8 games are probably a bridge too far but I personally don’t want to see them capitulate in every game. Confirmed games (dates announced on Wednesday)

It would be a smart move for the club to play the Cas and Wakefield games on a Saturday or Sunday and try and get more away fans in, as I cant see us getting much walk up crowd at all with nothing to play for.

Depends which weekends our three home games fall. Hull City have home games on 18th August and 1st, 15th and 29th September.

… and Wembley is on 25th August.
