Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| Bowden, Green and Hadley have really slotted in well this year.
They're all worth a place in the 13 on merit, which must be good news when injuries bite.
We just need Abdull to sort himself out - he must be the only player who puts on weight during a game.
And Houghton seems to be stepping up another gear in the last quarter - or is it everyone else slowing down?

Maybe Radford thought his attitude wasn't where it needed to be, he's learned from it and become a better player which the club is now reaping the benefits of. Could just be astute man management for all we know.

| Shaul by his own words said he sulked last year after being dropped and his attitude wasnt right, seems to have sorted all that out this year. Naughton has been great and Micheals on the other wing doesnt do much wrong either.
Exciting back three.

| Shaul IMO has grown up this year. Attitude not great last year from.what we are led to believe. IMO Radford deserves a pat on the back over this. And so does shaul who really is proving a top class FB

| Was saying last night that it's impressive the way the younger players have progressed. Radford attributes a lot of it to having a reserve team.

Went to the U23s game at Wakey earlier in the year where Noggers, Hadley,Lancaster and co all got gametime against a team including Tansey and Hall. Must be better and less disruptive to have them playing the same systems and not going dual reg.

| Interesting to see comments from some Warrington supporters last night regarding Lineham ("I've seen oil tankers turn more quickly" and "Tom Lineham couldn't catch a cold"icon_wink.gif
Naughton looks a special player right now, hopefully he can stay level headed and continue to work and improve.

| Noggers is a top finisher who will only get better with game time & age.

| The way things are going I can't see Talanoa getting much game time. With Lancaster also waiting in the wings it's going to be a tough choice as to who gets another contract between Michaels, Tally and Yeaman, certainly Logan is with us for 3 more years, SM isn't on bag loads and doing ok. Currently I'd say Talanoa is well down the pecking order.

Not really. Talanoa's contracted for next season already. The decision about Michaels I expect will be more about what we want to do with the last overseas spot. Reckon Yeaman will get another year if he keeps up his current level of performance.

| When I read the newsfeed it said Talanoa had signed a new 2 year contract...that was March 2015, that superceded the 2014 contract for only a one year til the end of 2015.
An extension of two more years on top of his 2014 contract would indeed keep him here until end of 2017 but as it reads it's an overiding 2 year contract starting from the beginning of 2015 and is inclusive of last year thus will be out of contract the end of this.
We'll wait and see but it still stands that Talanoa is on the back burner at the moment.

| It was definitely a two-year extension Talanoa signed. End of next year he's OOC.
