| How long do we have to stand rubbish like this, pathetic would be flattering for tonights performance, still there will be buffoons come on here and say give him half a season,10 matches etc, dont you understand radford built this team and if the players are ok,then the coach is a joke.Hands up all the clowns who think he's ok,right we'll start with pearson, anybody else ? We are the laughing stock of the league and us and wakey are sure to be 2 of the bottom 4,the only difference is they are a small club,we think were a big club.Shambles !!

| Before the game Sky did an analysis they called 'unlucky Hull', about all the tight losses & how we deserve to be higher. Their tune was a bit different 2nd half when they saw just how shocking our attack is. For once, Stevo got it spot on when he said that the difference was that Rovers looked to promote the ball, we just put it up the jumper.

| worst thing of all is that rovers whilst thoroughly deserving to win didn't really have to play all that well to achieve it

It's not that everything goes up the jumper, it's that everything is slow and sideways. It starts with Houghton who briefly falls asleep whilst the ball is being played. Then he wakes up just in time to throw a slow wobbly looking pass to the first receiver, who runs towards the corner flag for a few paces. Then he passes, then the next man runs towards the flag, then we bring through a half hearted dummy runner who fools nobody. Then there's a bit more running to the corner flag before the centre realises that there are more defenders than attackers and we've slid so far his winger is now sat with the fans. So he cuts inside and takes the tackle. Unless he gets pushed into touch first.
It's awful stuff. It wouldn't trouble most championship teams. Rovers never had to scramble once tonight. They knew that as long as no one needlessly jumped the line or missed one on one tackle we would never be able to break them down, and that's how it went.

| I think it's a bit wrong to say Rovers didn't need to play that well, it's more accurate to say that they didn't need to play that long. They put in a good half & pretty much won the game, then just controlled it & played it out comfortably.

Yeah, that's how it is once we get near the opposition's line. For the first 60-70 metres though it is predominantly one pass, one tackle, one man rugby. Until we're a couple of scores+ down with less than 15 to go, of course.

But I don't mind that because we do make good yards and create field position for ourselves. One man rugby might not be the most exciting thing to watch but it does work if you can then go through the gears when you get in an attacking position. If we manage to get it in first it's a miracle.
