| pryce was great tonight despite getting 10 bells knocked out of him. rankin needs to stop running sideways when joining the line as he closes the space for his centre

| i actually thought Mini was the MOM. catalan brought over a big set of forwards but mini stood up to them really well and a couple of big hits really seemed to knock them back. when you add in that ellis was struggling through and eventually sucummed to injury, i thought he rose to the challenge superbly. one of those performances you don't always notice, but very effective
my top 3 rounded out with Pryce and Sneyd - who had his best game for hull yet

Stuggling with basic comprehension skills, then?

I've been thinking the same thing. Similar posting style.

As I said elsewhere, and this is amongst the most upbeat comments:
Decent performance after a dire first 20 minutes, couple of right brainfarts gifted them a couple of tries. Pryce, Lineham, Rankin showed up well. Catalans were poor though. You'd have to be a complete fool to think beating them at home equated to a free top 6 pass.

Not at all, just amazes me how people are getting seriously overexcited after one game where we almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. When we've won 4 in a row then I'll think we're getting somewhere.

I'd agree with that assessment.

Where have you seen anybody getting over excited? Definitely not on here. Also we where winning 33-16 with a couple of minutes to go, hardly a near loss like you say. You should really stop making things up.

Which comments equate to being "seriously overexcited"?

Nobody - absolutely NOBODY - is getting even a little 'overexcited'. Unless you'd like to offer some evidence to the contrary?
But the comprehension and reasoned argument were never your strong suits in your previous incarnation.

I am not talking just RLFans, from what I heard we played well but struggled to close the game out in the second half, possibly down to some questionable refereeing decisions. The next three games are going to show where we really are as a club, squad and team. Hopefully we can string some wins together and start climbing the ladder. As for "previous incarnation"??? I've noticed there are a few posters on here that seem to dislike people with different opinions, it's a discussion forum about opinions, is it not?

We were dire in the first 20 attacking wise, but still very dominant in defence, the only time they got in our half was from a penalty (And scored a good try to be fair)
I though our defence was upto our usually standards, apart from taia, who as I've said before is as good as any backrower in SL.
What impressed me the most was our passing and speed, certainly feel more positive than before, but must back it up next week.
