I'd like to start off by saying that any experienced players we sign will be great role models for our youngsters to learn from.

Any old players, past their best, that you sign will deny valuable first team opportunities to your young players and stifle their development.

The thing is with Feka, he didn't take up a non-fed spot and probably isn't on a big wage. He was a gamble, as are all signings, but quite a clever, inexpensive one. Moi Moi could work out well too, but it is a different type of gamble. Edit - that bit was a response to a post by somebody else on another thread, sorry.

Im not gloating it just makes me laugh every player we sign is over aged crap but KR bring in nobody's and they pretend to be tickled pink, and while where on the subject if I look at our season its as poor as I can remember but apart from some very narrow defeats it could have looked a lot better, Rovers season has not been much better than ours and with who their losing I would be very worried about next year in fact most KR supporters you talk to genuinely are

You laugh at us for dismissing yours as aged crap, but then dismiss ours as nobodies. It is funny, and even fun, but it's very much a double edged joke.

Your season would have been better if you'd lost fewer games, I agree. And more seriously, Sneyd and Pryce might give you the game management to turn a few of those narrow defeats into wins. Fine margins, innit. Equally it might turn out plop again, you never can tell.

If we lose Burns as well as Hodgson that would be a concern, but new season nearly always means renewed optimism, even if it is based on best-casing and one-eyed assessments.
