He'll be a good player one day, we just don't have the time unfortunately. He could work well alongside Campese, but that sounds as though it's not going to happen & Rankin would be a better fit alongside Dureau if he signed.

Beginning to think we'll have the same halves next year, we've already lost out on our first two targets.

His partners heavily pregnant, once they take baby home in the off season I can't see him wanting to come back either.

If he is to be a first grade player either at Hull or Aus in future years he will need to start proving it now and would be expected to have a major impact on games at Championship level straight away. I hope for him (and Hull) that he can do that but personally I doubt it.

All HB's which we've signed ,have been wrongly blamed ,for the team's lack of
attack -IMO.

Any HB needs runners & options to pass to, we never use dummy runners consistently.

Its not Long,Seymour,Miller etc to blame, its up to the coaching staff to ensure, we play basic RL.

the fact being, is if the half backs want dummy runners, then he she be organising them so that there are dummy runners. if there isn't any then again that's down to him not organising and directing

I don't think it's that simple. A good half back can dictate play to an extent, but he can't telepathically tell all of his runners where he wants them to be. These things need to be worked out in training. Look at the movement of the Wigan players. Do you really think Blake Green is telling all of those guys where to run? It's no coincidence that Green has gone from being an ok half back at Rovers to a really good one at Wigan. It's because it's easy to look good when your just shovelling easy balls onto guys who know exactly what line to run. The half backs just need to call plays and give prompts. If the other guys can't run that play effectively then it's not necessarily the scrum half's fault.

Maybe le don't want to dummy run for him as he constantly throws out hospital balls?
