If the points reduction is over turned we are in a relegation battle, and with us having Bradford, Wakey and Salford to play away we would be in serious trouble.

| Relegation battle? Come on guys, I'm pi55ed off with them too, but we will be safely in the 8 by the end of the season. The question is whether you are happy with a 7th or 8th finish and a playoff defeat.

The answers NO.That will mean we've gone backwards so Radford should get the same treatment that was meted out to Gentle

Whilst I'm not convinced that we're heading for a relegation battle I'm also not convinced we'll make the playoffs.

| I was another to fear for us pre-season whilst still prepared to give Radders and co every chance. I don't think our recruitment was strong enough and I don't believe it's matched what our owner was trying to feed us. I was very close to AP at final whistle and he was a dejected chappie slumped in his seat at final whistle. That after he'd had a verbal fooking off some numpty to which he chose not to reply!

| I said we wont finish in the eight and im sticking with it. I think Rovers will be eight and us ninth or tenth.
For me the club is a mess and I lay the blame at the door of Pearson. He's a football man who's found out that rugby league works a whole lot different to football and after all his false promises has been found out. He's not signed the players that he said he would, hes done the cheap option employing yet another unproven assistant despite all previous evidence showing that it very rarely works and just like Radford he hasn't got a clue on how to change it all round. Best thing that could happen at FC is for Pearson to sell up to a rugby man but the chance of that is basically zero as theres no money around so unfortunately were stuck with this clueless dire rugby league for the foreseable future

| You can buy success if you spend it in the right places.
There is potentially a really good future at the club with the new wave of youngsters we have coming through. However we need to address the rotten core of the club ASAP because otherwise these kids will go the same way. Get rid of the players who have been here for years on end and haven't performed, and bring in an all new, professional, experienced coaching staff who will set the high standards we require. We need the youngsters to be brought up in a professional, winning environment, like the Wigan and Leeds kids do. Otherwise they will just fall into the same ways as the rest of them.

| I think we'll finish in the top 8 but was hoping for 6th which I now think will be very difficult. I don't think we'll be struggling with relegation at all. Our pack is decent and has some depth to cover injuries.
What the team needs, so badly, is two players - a top scrum half and a good, experienced mid 20s centre with some strike potential. I have no idea where the half will come from - easier said than done - but it is that position which has continually cost the club success for 8 years. Far more than any coaching appointment (see Radford/Gentle/Agar/Sharp). We need brains on the field and the knowledge to run a game tactically coupled with the skills to implement and deliver what is necessary. As has been mentioned look at Warrington this year now they've lost that player they had - a shadow of the side that they used to be.
With some good young players around the squad that's all I think we need to push the top 4. The current coach has some attributes I like but is naïve in other ways. He should stay until the end of the season minimum and then re-assess. If Pearson wants this to succeed he has to find an established playmaker/leader and get him into the club to deliver immediate results and nurture Harry Tyson Wilson into our next big home grown star. If he needs salary cap advice Koucash is always on twitter.
