One of the few players who did give 100% every time he played. He did however get dominated by the defence in nearly every run he made and seemed to have no ability to make any hard yards in the collision. There are a few more players before him that I would have looked to release early from their contracts though.

Agreed. Quite a shame that it's someone like him being cut loose when he seems to have one of the best attitudes at the club.

Agree to both of the above, can't fault his effort but just wasn't good enough to make the required impact as a forward and was rarely in the 17.

Goes to show we are still suffering from over inflated deals for average players.
At least AP is not standing for mediocrity and is determined to bring success even if it means he has bin players to achieve the goals set.

Good luck Paul, always gave 100% but a Gentle signing and falling under the "average" tag, not too surprised to see him being shipped out, a good squad player with a good work ethic, sounds like he's got a gig at Widnes, so we move on and hopefully we see a bigger, meaner prop coming in

I have being a massive critic of his signing (along with a couple of other signings) since day one and I still cannot fathom who signed him or why. He was never going to be what we needed in our pack.

However, his effort and determination could never be questioned and it is a real shame that he doesn't have the size or strength to go with it.

So, who else do we think is out of the door, or never going to actually come through it?

Pitts and McDonnell sound like they're "at risk". I've been told that McRae gave out some stupid contracts and those two have a couple of them (Green also apparently given much more than market value).
