Great news and well deserved. Can't think of many players who have been as consistently good throughout 10 years with the club and if I were a rovers fan, I could probably count the number of poor games he's had in that time on the fingers of my 3 hands

I love Whiting. The definition of stalwart.
I recall Richard Agar's trauma after Whiting's horrific leg injury at London, I think, about 5 years ago, saying he'd never forget the sight of Whiting in the ambulance after he'd just come back from another injury. Overcame that adversity and a superb ambassador for the club.
As a special treat, can he please have a squad number lower than 14? |

I think 14 is the perfect the number, he is the ultimate utility man. They should rename utility player to the Richard Whiting player.
