Seymour did play well (although I'm still far from convinced he's the answer to our half back problem).

Thought Lineham and Crookes carried the ball well.

Our forwards from the bench brought much needed aggression and determination (Johnson, Bowden, Green and Pitts) that our starting pack lacked.

Hull didn't have their names on their backs so I wasn't always sure who was who but I thought McDonnell played well other than the one dropped ball and intercepted pass. Seymour steadied you a bit I thought and a couple of your young props looked okay.

hate to be unfashionable but Horne was solid too - looked like he cared as well.

Thought Pitts and Johnson were the stand outs for us in the middle.



Seymour and Lineham should have played themselves into the starting line up for the Leeds game.

I agree, in the first 20 minutes he was our only player really awake and up for it, he threw some good long passes out wide to try and gain good metres

Came on as a second half sub if I recall.

both he and seymour showed more in 10 minutes than holdsworth and heremaia did all 1st half!

TBH I thought he stayed on in the 2nd half, although I do recall a bloke sat near me shouted after about 5mins or so of the 2nd half starting 'Jesus he's just come on and he getting first aid already'



He did end up playing FB for the last 10-15mins though if I remember rightly



I'd love Horne to regain the form he showed a few years back but I honestly think the batterings he has taken since the day he made his debut have now caught up with him and sadly think he will only be a bit part player. This may well be a good thing for him and prove beneficial for both him and the club on the pitch.



Respect to him for always going on the field and giving his best no matter what for the club we all support.

Horne started the 2nd half at stand-off then moved to full back when McDonnell went off. I thought he did ok. Past his best but still a good squad player.
