Although I don`t have a pass I will still be attending the matches,so does it make much difference if others are doing the same?

I know a few passholders who did not renew this year but will attend when possible. Over 8k is a good effort in the current climate and it was a decent effort from a marketing point of view.

The next step is to attract the fans through the turnstiles by performances on the pitch...

pass sales have been good i think for the current econemy
i didnt have the money to get 1 this year during the discount period and its simply not worth buying 1 now its more expensive then just paying for 13 home games

There's an interesting comment in this months Rugby League World that clubs are setting themselves up to fail with publicly stated pass sales targets, and they quoted the way that Salford increased their crowd by 10% last year, but as they'd announced they wanted 8K on average, it was seen as a failure.

They've lost all of their best players, can't even field a team for a friendly and are on the verge of going pop. I'd say a 10% increase in crowds was a failure

What the article meant was, the negativity had already started before last season had even started, when they could have used the 'record pass sales' hype to grow crowds further...still wouldn't have been enough to 'save' them IMO, that club has had problems for years, and would be in trouble regardless of staying at the Willows or getting a new ground.

When can you collect a pass on the direct debit scheme? The last direct debit goes out on the 29th so it's a bit last minute especially if our first game was at home
