Embarrassing.'"
Why?
Surely it is a good thing that the RFL are taking international Rugby League to other cities and Stadia rather than the usual suspects?
Even better for us that we can take our kids to watch the best players that this country has to offer, right on our doorstep.

Mainly to gain interest in rugby league in the respective countries before next years World Cup!
I bet Ireland could put a half decent side together.

Sorry, you are indeed correct.
I thought you were referring to attendances.

Will it? Cool, builders must be planning to get a shift on. All hail the British construction industry.

| to be fair they are probably using rovers ground as a test for the world cup as an international venue. not sure whether salfords ground is hosting any games.
might have been a better idea to use doncasters ground instead of rovers though given the building work in progress

The fact our national team is playing in stadia with a combined capacity of less than 40k which I have no doubt will not be sold out (I really hope i'm wrong) is imo embarrassing and another indication of our sports decline.
FWIW I will be attending the England France game.

| After the justified complaints of the RFL treating the city with contempt last Autumn despite a great crowd for the NZ game at the KC this is a massive opportunity for the rugby league community in KuH to support the national team and provide those at 'Red Hall' some food for thought when it comes to the next round of fixtures against the Kiwis or Kangaroos...

my default position of going nowhere near that hole of a ground will remain.
