Impossible to forget tonights performance,as we were totally inept in All areas.Play off rugby,the rest of the top 8 will be quaking in thier boots if they get us.

Wonder why sky didnt mention widnes having ten missing tonight,they were quick enough to mention it when it was hull.!

As said, really disappointed with the attitude tonight.

Surely when professional players play throw away the ball like that and make such dumb decisions, the only explanation is that they are not switched on, they are not playing with the required intensity.

Pointless to single out individuals, who we would like to get rid of etc, not least because some of the worst culprits are supposedly some of our best players! The only thing individually is that we may be lacking direction and in particular leadership.

Really like Gentle but it is his job to eradicate this sort of performance, if Agar had presided over that, a (virtual) lynch mob would be out now.

We had three and a half years of that under Agar.

tonights performance was worse than any under agars leadership.
How can the coach not sense the players attitude in build up to the game.. These are professional players
who should have pride in their performance.
The annoying thing is we will beat bradford n cas and forget about tonights shambles !

So what should we do, cry about it for another few weeks? We played poor and lost. Onwards we go.

This Is the only thing I've found off the beeb -

Hull FC coach Peter Gentle:
"It was disgraceful and the most inept performance I have seen for a long time.
"Our completion rate in the second half was only 39% and we went from bad to worse.
"We weren't anything like a top-four side out there today and are kidding ourselves if we think that.
"We have a lot of work to do. We had no respect for the ball and no defence to back it up. It was embarrassing and not up to standard."

Yes I noticed that and not a clue why, thought at first maybe they weren't sponsoring us anymore and we'd covered it over but he was the only one!
Shocking lackluster display, maybe a blessing before they play off's, i remain ever hopeful

He said it was the worst performance he'd seen by any side at this level of the game. He also said that the players 'lacked respect for the ball' and expected to 'do it easy'. Under questioning he added that the coaching staff had 'caught a sniff' of this attitude early in the week and tried to address it.

He was as pi$$ed off as I've ever heard him. Offered no excuses whatsoever and laid the blame on the playing and coaching staff. Talked at length about how much work they had to do over the next two weeks and how he didn't want to go into the 'semi-finals' (playoffs) and be embarrassed. Mentioned that on last night's performance we simply didn't deserve to be there.
