to be honest, I think (yet again) we've missed a trick, why not launch the shirt last weekend with an army prescence at the Jubilee game, I think the marketing department at FC need to work a bit harer, it seems the focus of their abilities is the Internet and not much else. A massive opportunity squandered, why not have the parachute regiment drop in before a game at the KC, bedecked in the kit etc.

As I said, a totally worthwhile charity, just a bit of a lame launch.

Your right, tbh I have been slightly concerned with marketing generally this season, very little promotion about games, very few family offers, not seen any school/youth team tickets etc which is a shame as I know several people who have gone with the children on free school tickets and carried on going.

Its not great, just looks grey from further than about 10m. Should have been proper grey, white and black urban camo and then one with pink in a ladies fit. Great idea and cause but nowhere near distinctive enough.

Manly's, like it or loathe it, was at least distinctive.

the focus now is ££££££££££ through the retail stores, I don't think they view promotion of the side and games as their job, it's all about sshifting hoodies and tracksuits, with little regard to what it actually means to support a team.

Well they have a very short sighted view, surely the goal must be to get new fans through the door in the hope that they will enjoy and carry on coming and buy all the merchandise they are trying to knock out, it is not as if we don't have enough empty seats. Although the last regime were a bag of shiit you could not knock their marketing/promotion which included familes/youths team/schools, and overall produced some of our best gates and shirt sales.

The Huddersfield game is on Armed Forces weekend in Hull - the best game. Maybe we should have asked to wear it for the away derby as well as we cant wear our home shirt for that one. why not wear it twice.

Ah, I understand now, away Derby would be a great idea as well, maximum exposure for HFH, has to be the main aim.
