He probably told him this a while back and is waiting for a decision - Long was saying last year he would like another contract for next year. It's also possible that a decision has already been made but not publicised - the monitoring of Ellis would add weight to this. There is no evidence that Agar isn't making the decisions - none at all.'"
I really hope the club haven't already offered Long a contract for next year, it would a shocking decsion this early. |

I've been in Egypt for the last week so haven't been able to keep upto date with all things FC. What are these rumours of this player Ellis from Leigh? Also what other rumours has there been going about?

Pointless keeping long on a top salary when he spends more time watching us from the stands than he does on the field.

What makes me laugh is when Agar says it has nothing to do with age. Is that why if you fall over when you are 8 you get a sratch, but when you fall over when you are 80 you brake your hip. Of course it's his age |

 That's right because of course all hyper expended elbow injuries are identical in severity. |

I know. Was saying the same the other day about those injured pensioners who play for Saints - Lomax, Gaskell, and Eastmond. |
