I thought about it but when I called to have the kids channels removed they said it would start 31 days from that day, and if I wanted to have them re-instated I would have to give them 31 days notice. Not worth it for just 3 months off season for us, we would only save 1 month and it costs a fortune as it is to call them and be hanging on for minutes at a time.

Same old same old, existing loyal customers get no reward or perks. At the very least we in Hull should get something in return for not being able to take advantage of the phone and broadband package. They have people like me over a barrel because of the sport and kids channels.

Sky rang the wife last week to offer her free Sky HD box and 6 months free HD. During the call it was cut off for some reason and we rang Sky and they said it was an outbound offer only. They've not rang back like they said they would or should.

She won't ring em to say she'll cancel if theis offer isn't put in place like they were promising during their call to us. Scumbags.

Just cancelled my sky.

I told her that one of the reasons were, that we cannot have sky broadband and sky talk. She said that she was well aware of this as it has been mentioned about Hull, in a few of their recent meetings.

Could be, that if a good few others cancelled with the same reason, sky may do something to sort it.

Not me they are not.
I phoned and cancelled the 'sports' part of my package this morning.
He said lots of football is on you know and when I said 'I'm not interested' you would of actually though I has insulted the queen so shocked was he.
