I do remember a rovers fan calling in fairly recently and giving Gwillum a royal roasting over his interview technique being more Ross style fawning than Paxmanesqe grilling when it came to Morgan & rovers. |

Nothing to do with protecting Hall, I'm hardly his biggest cheerleader. Both teams have players OOC. Why pick out Tickle and Hall for the third degree treatment? How many of Rovers OOC players have received the same grilling? Chev Walker's out for the season, why not ask him where he is with his negotiations for Rovers, if they've not started, why not? Does he think he's been treated fairly after such a terrible injury? etc. Maybe they have done and I've missed it. |

The gist of it was that it was a replay of the Danny Tickle one, where Matt Dean (I think) basically grilled Hall for 5 minutes, asking him the same question, ie are you staying at FC, in a pretty uncalled for way. Hall said at the start that FC haven't started talks with him yet, but Dean proceeded to ask him why he thought that was, whether he wanted to stay at FC (more than once), whether he thought his form warranted selection, what he planned to do about it, whether he thought talks would start, whether he was going to Rovers (even though Hall said he'd not spoken to anyone yet), and best of all then asked him whether he was sick of people asking him about it and what he thought of the HDM article.
As said already, this was exactly like their harrassing of Danny Tickle, after which they smugly concluded he was as good as gone.
Does anyone know whether they've interviewed Chev Walker, Liam Colbon, Chas I'Anson, David Mills or Scott Wheeldon with the same one question subject matter, as they are all in the same position as Tickle and Hall? Thanks.'"
