| Quote: PAUL M "We were discussing this yesterday at the game, you would expect him to have some frailties in defence but he really doesn't and despite his size he is very fit and works really hard.'"
Thats what made me ask, you normally have to 'carry' impact players like him and they can end up being a luxury, 15 - 20 decent minutes max. I thought this would be why Agar hasn't played him that much this year and seems to have to be forced to play him to allow others to rest. If he is as solid as you say players like him are very hard to come by.

Ask Michael Monaghan.

| I would say that Moa had as much if not more game time than O'meley and was more effective and that is not picking holes in O'meley who worked very hard.
I can not see any obvious reason why Sam will not play on Saturday and if we can get some sort of half back combo that will not keep sending our forwards in waves of straight lines, Fitz, Ogre, Moa, Lauaki and Manu could cause Leeds some difficulty.

| Dowes was poor yesterday. I'd expect him to miss out in the cup if the others are back.

I agree Dowes was ineffective yesterday and he should drop out along with Burnett (who had a reasonable game) to make way for Tickle and Fitz. Moa should keep his place.

| hes been constantly good in defence and the two bigs hits he has put in in the last two games have been some of the biggest of the season by any player and like many have said he always makes yards.
still a young prop as well who has many years ahead, one of my current favouraites.
Dowes to drop out as he's been ordinary at best

| I'm almost certain that our great young British coach will find some way of dropping big Sam !!
Dowes should be dropped but will probably keep his bench spot and Sam will make way.

| Sam Moa should be in the team, no doubt.
Watching Cusack, Dowes and Radford over the past few seasons, I have to say all three constantly disappoint me. Defensively they are ok but they are painfully slow and do not carry it hard or fast. Radford always turns his back into the tackle, which is a strange habit and often he offloads in stupid situations. I couldn’t believe they gave him the contract extension last year. He also gives a lot of penalties away. Cusack is a professional but I’m glad he is retiring to be honest. Both him and Dowes are error free but they need to carry it harder. Too often they carry it up with a limp jog and then get put on their backs. They stand so shallow when taking a run and the lack of momentum is evident in the contact. I know they all give their best, but what we should be asking is, is there best good enough? We will never progress whilst we are retaining these sorts of players.

| Radford or Dowes to go , both are useless at best but on recent form although Radford is a donkey he is better in most respects than Dowes who for me is looking far below average at present, doesnt look interested to me!!
moa had a good game for the first time, and looked fit too , lets hope he keeps this up and proves me wrong again.
But drop either Rads or dowes , either one is no loss

| Moa needs to be playing on saturday without a doubt. I would drop either Dowes or Cusack for the game.

I would too, if only because he couldn't be d to get himself back onside so Tansey could take a quick restart tap on Hull's 20.
