which way do you go in the car??down to thirsk and then onto york??



im living in north yorkshire but i doubt you travel near me which is a shame as i would be prepared to help with the cost etc

A lad from Darlington travels down to nearly every home game , £40 on train it costs him .

If city stay up you might not have far to travel ,back to the roots.

I to am northeast. Sunderland is my port. I not trying to make any excuses bud, but yeah due to reduced hours, wages etc and non reductions in bills, mortgage etc I can't afford the expenses at moment.. Iwhen I travel it is with gatesheadhulllad. As things improve in near future I be more than happy to share travelling costs!!!. More the merrier for the cause I say!!. Which train you getting by the way and have you any idea how far it is to Headingley from the train station??

It's not the cost for me. Last week the wife was working and needed the car on good Friday (there was no way I was missing the derby!) So had to hire a car. It's the ball ache of the drive and depending on when the game is, it's nice to have a pint or 2.



If I was driving down for a game, I'd be more than happy to fill the car up with people for nowt. I'm going anyway with or without anybody else!

If we ever play on a Sunday and you have somewhere to stay in Hull, you can jump in with us on the way home from a Newcastle game on a Saturday if it'll save you any money on travelling.

You can get a train from Leeds Station to Burley Park station I think it is called and you will be pretty much outside the ground. It will not cost you much either for the extra train journey.
