Broughton must've thought it was his birthday the way he was allowed to stroll in for his tries. Discipline was also poor, so much cheap possession conceded from stupid penalties. Young Lyne will no doubt be a great player but totally out of his depth and not helped by those along side him out there tonight.

Not many posts pointing fingers at Reece Lyne but he was clearly not ready for Super League. Both the Broughton tries and the first Kirkpatrick try and the high kick dropped were down to him. Craig Hall should have played or Whiting on the wing with Hall in the centre. By playing a 17 year old you are telling the opposition we are over confident. Fitzgibbon was awful for the first time and Long is not leading. We are a mid table team at best and I believe we are a better team in bad conditions due to our big pack and lack of pace and creativity. How can we beat Saints, Huddersfield and Bradford and lose to Salford ? As much as I think Agar has assembled a pretty decent team capable of playing well something is amiss with tactics and motivation

i think that's another interesting point, last night was the best conditions we've played in this year, and it suited the opposition more than us.
