I'm not for one sceond underestimating Salford or suggesting we make wholesale changes, but do you really expect Fitz to continue playing at his current level week after week without the odd rest?
However on current form, if Agar was considering resting the odd player for a game, surely the Salford game would be a better option than the ones we have coming up after it in kr, wire and leeds twice.

| Quote PAUL M="PAUL M"I agree but he can't play week in/out and with easter looming next week is the ideal time to rest him. Salford will be a tough game but we need to be able to win without him.'"
Easter's always a tough period, more so for the Hull teams and Wigan/Saints IMO due to the intensity of our games plus the fact that Leeds/Bradford always seem to get the Thursday night slot so an extra day pre Easter Monday. With the way the fixtures pan out as well with Leeds twice and Warrington, can't remember a more difficult run of games TBH. Wonder if he'll pick one of them to field a weakened team?

| It's a tough one, isn't it?
If anything, I'd be tempted to rest Fitz for the Headingley game. Salford on Saturday is a must win game.

Would do that at Headingley seeing as even the dobbins can win there at the moment!

On current form I don't think we can afford to play a weakened side against salford

I'd prioritise the cup game above all else personally. Love the CC and our only chance of silverware realistically.

Agree, Mrs B.
Players and coaches often say that it's the game [iafter[/i Easter Monday when the busy programme affects teams more. I wouldn't be too concerned about a league defeat at Leeds whereas the Cup game is a real chance for silverware. Financially, too, a cup run is important to us. Who knows, if we get through we may draw a non SL team in the 5th round which could mean a chance to rest Fitz.
As it stands I would play as strong a side as possible at The Willows.

| Fitz to be rested aginst Salford and Washy to come in is a no-brainer IMO, if Washy can give us a decent performance then that will shut up the doubters.
Sorry but I think all this talk about fielding a weakened team for Leeds away is rubbish. Leeds have got a harder Easter than us, we should be going to Headingly all guns blazing, if we go & get stuffed by them then it makes the home game all the more difficult, turn them over at their place and we are going to have the edge at home.
Whilst we're not setting the world on fire I'd be dissapointed to lose the Hedingly game.

Any side without Fitz would be weakened.
