We didn't release Schofield - he left us of his own accord. Crooks seemed like a mistake at the time although I think we probably had the best out of him.
Vaikona was a shocking decision. Even worse was the excuse - "Not up to SL standard."  |

Was that the reason given ? All I remember was being told we wouldn't be disappointed with the replacements and presuming TV wanted out. |

IIRC that was a (more or less) direct quote from the club when the fans questioned his move to Bradford.
