Gasp! The Chinese?

I was stood at the old scoreboard end with my 3 red n white mates .As a 14 yr old it was quite frightening ,somehow ended up on the track were i got set about on by a rovers supporter ,my pals helped me out though, was not looking forward to going home on the 56 longhill bus but that passed without incident


Have moved to west hull now though saves on bus fare

I was 13 at the time. I was at the bottom of the Gordon Street terrace and close to several victims.

What I find as a bizarre coincidence is that Good Friday 1981 was on the 17th April. The day Paul Cooke was born, you could not make it up.

It was a bad day all round then!
