Well, I always look to the West Hull massive for a well thought out, well reasoned and intelligent response to any posts on these forums.

What would make you do that?

Just like 'They probably know more about managing a SL club than Uncle Kath, Jimmy Tool and the rest of that shower' you mean ?

Whose board is the biggest laughing stock in SL? Despite all the spin from Tool et al there is no shiny new training complex for you, no Crocker for you (despite incurring tons of cost in an effort to make it so), no Sunday pm kick offs for you (despite significant demand for it from your fans )and no first team coach that knows what he's doing.

Oh, and no play-off action for the second season in a row now either.

The HKR board said survival, consolidation and challenging, so we are not that far away from the third objective. Your club is going the opposite way i.e challenging (3 years ago), consolidation (last two years in bottom quarter) and survival (hopefully you might achieve this, so we can get our 4 easy points off you). Where have I heard that before?

Significant demand? Where did you get that statistical nugget from? From the survey taken it was deemed that Friday nights were a success and people wanted it to continue.

Crocker was not the fault of the club, the rules changed as did the personal who authorised the visa's before his visa was applied for.

Got to admit the measure of a coach always seems to become apparent when it matters in the play-offs

Oh dear, sounds like we are doomed and you are going to go on to greater things (then coming 4th). Shame the 14,000 fans of the great F.C. don't see it like that. There was a feeling of impending disappointment from the meagre crowd at Caravan Park after Wigan showed you how it's played, get used to it cos it will be the mainstay next season.

1) Training complex cant be built overnight you wally !
2) How can you blame the board for Crocker not getting a visa you wally !
3)No sunday games cos Fridays have meant a financial improvement for the club and have been very succesful. Despite you thinking there was significant demand for it you are wrong. People dont like change in any walk of life and so a number voiced their concerns. Ask the same people now and most will say their opinions have changed ! (You wally !)
4) They have given the benefit of the doubt to a coach who has told them he wants to build his own side and given the bloke that chance.We will see if the coach can make it next year but I dont think its bad business sense by the board. A gamble on the pitch yes but not bad business sense you wally !

Our board have proven that they can more than adequately run the company as the money making venture that it is without losing its very large fan base.
Remember though,running a SL club can be considered something of a marathon and certainly not a sprint. Lets hope we see in the future if your board have the legs to run at a steady pace or run out of puff before they even really started !!!


And you speak as a supporter of a club where the board are so heavily in debt they darent file club accounts on time.
