No thanks. A shame as there have been glimpses of a good player, just far too few. Question for us is cover in the halves. I'd like Washy to get a full season at LF.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "He's had a shedload of criticism but fair play to him tonight. I'd like to bet he wasn't looking forward to coming on, but he did really well and looked to create chances every time he got the ball. Cue the world and his dog reminding us of his shortcomings, but seriously, we've done that to death. Well played tonight, Chris
anybody can play well when you have nothing to play for. it's how he plays when it matters that count..

| I shook his hand when he got on the coach after the match and said "all the best Chris" - He's failed at Hull FC, and I wanted him dropped, but not hounded out of the club - that just offsets ANY talk of us being the best supporters in Super League. He failed, but he put the shirt on and tried. Let him leave gracefully.

100% Agree !!!!
The guy has tried his best but he has been very disappointing. The way that he has been treated by some fans at times has been more than disappointing but some of the things that Agar has done with him have been nothing short of shocking.
Agar has hung him out to dry at times.
I personally hope that he is in SL next season and that he can make a go of it somewhere.

Although he has tried, his best hasn't been good enough. At times he has looked clueless which has led to another poor season in attack. I know you have to have a decent pack, but Thorman has looked lost. Horne has also been poor, however, at least another season should be given to see if he can overcome his problems when the pressure is off a little bit.

No, you wasn't - we were yelling too.
First player to rush up and congratulate Hall on his try and I thought his passing was creative last night. And he did produce a smashing tackle!
Well played Chris. I noticed you were reluctant to look up at the Hull fans last night - wonder why?

Good luck to him'"
\i think cas away was one of the most depressing Fc games I have been to. THormans treatment was abhorrent and all the other unsubstantiated disharmony disturbing.
Sad to say all in all though Thorman has made a bit of a rod for his own back.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

Thorman has made a rod for his own back. In sport, harsh though it seems, there really is no sentiment. Fail and get rid.
The Cas away game broke my spirit for the season it was kind of a defining game because both teams were scrapping for a play off place .

| Agar's treatment of Thorman has been poor but the reaction towards him of a section of our so called supporters was also out of order.

In general I agree, but Leeds away made me snap completely. That said, in other games, he was made a scapegoat that didn't wash.
We did all see the poor kicking, passing and decision making though.
Overall I am inclined to think that the fundamental flaw in our attacking play was not Thorman, but no runners and disinterested players that simply cannto be bothered to make the effort. When they did make an effort, we look pretty useful, thorman or no.

Totally agree - he wasn't there to provide the go forward and guess may have tried too hard to seek options. But the Leeds game was without doubt for the poorest game in defence he could have played...
If gone - wish him all the best, from where I see it at least he tried this year which is more than can be said for some
