I do hope that the club allow us fans to say goodbye to Motu at one of the remaining home games?! I remember Swain (I think) coming onto the pitch before the match and the fans showed their appreciation for his efforts.

Sad to see him bow out in this fashion, but the correct decision in the circumstances. Great servant to the club over the last 5 years and will leave me with some super memories.

Great player, great try at Cardiff, and if ever you need reminding about how he always gave his all, just remember this year at Leeds when after 13 games out he returned to play a man of the match performance. Very very unlucky with latest injury, although I think he was always going home after this season.

Sad news but unfortunately the correct decision.

Motu has been a great servant for the club and should leave with his head held high. As with all Hull fans I will never forget that try in the 2005 Cup Final.

I hope the club give the crowd a chance to acknowledge him before he leaves.

I don't think I'd like to see him sign for another SL club though.
