I disagree, I think the squad you started with was a top 8 squad.

Take Thormans 'form', Berrigan, Tony's and Briscoes injuries among others and that is the reason you are struggling to make top 8.

If you replaced 5 players you could be top 5 I reckon.

dont see the point in these agar threads tbh,he will be here next season with his own squad, and certain players will of been released,then we can judge him,if hes still not upto it then its easy,HIS CONTRACT WONT BE RENEWED.hasnt people realised his hands are tied with certain players still under contract till end of the year and he cant play the type of rugby he wants with the players he has.

The problem is that next year Agar will be starting the season being OOC at the end of it. When the same happened to Kear there was a lot of distraction in terms of him saying the board hadn't spoken to him about an extension, mass press speculation he was going etc. After a poor start we ended up with another season changing the coach halfway through. If we give him 10 games of next season, and we have a bad start, we end up with Jon Sharp on at least an 18 month deal as I can't see us getting a quality Aussie coach in mid season even if we were willing to spend the cash. So effectively we're signed up to Agar/Sharp until 2012.

he has made not even the slightest bit of progress though, in fact I'd even say we are worse than last year because last year we at least had the injury excuse. Apart from Manu, Cusack and Washbrook, the last 2 games have seen us field our first choice side, and its still been rubbish.

he's had a year to change the way we play (if not the personnel) and we should have seen some form of improvement by now

maybe if some of the players was ars-d we would see a difference in the way we play.some of the players dont wear there shirt with pride,do you get my drift?

It seems pretty obvious that he will be here next season, whatever happens from now but for what he has "achieved" in his tenure up to now, he deserves the sack as much as his two predecessors did.

The side he has available to him at the moment is not far off the best he can put out with only Manu missing who has the quality to make a big difference. I wouldn't see much difference in Cusack trundling the ball in instead of Dowes, King, Radford etc..

The fact is that his promises to improve our rugby and our home record have failed miserably and, for me, we are worse now than we ever were under Kear or Peter Blunt.

Make or break for him next season and he must be well aware of that so anything he can do to improve our squad for next season, he should be moving heaven and earth to do so because his job will depend on it !!

Looks as though he is with Fitzgibbon,Long and Tansey with more rumoured to be coming....i didnt agree with appointment but he will be here and judged on HIS team next season.

I didn't agree with his appointment at all either but next season is his one and only chance to prove us all wrong !!

I really do hope that he can !!
