| Maybe the board could grow some b0llocks and go throw money at someone like Justin Morgan, money that he couldn't refuse???
Would have the added advantage of leaving KR high and dry too.
Sadly it looks like they're more concerned with lining their own pockets.

| It must come as no co-incidence that Huddersfield look red hot this season now that they have finally got a head coach who actually knows what he's doing, instead of Jon Sharp.
Meanwhile Hull are ABOUT to take ANOTHER step backwards and give this idiot the job full time.

| I said it when Peter Sharp went...Agar and the rest should have followed. The problems lie with the coaching set up and the CULTURE of the club, a shake up from top to bottom is needed!
Clubs like Saints and Leeds can change coaches but they are always at the right end of the comp when it matters. Why? because they have a winning mentality and a will to win at whatever cost.....we don't and that i'm afraid will never change until the club appoint the right coach...a winner who commands respect and settles for nothing less than 100% commitment and effort!

what was even more baffling about Agar's appointment was how quick they made it permanent
he had one game against Saints as temporary coach, which admittedly was an improved Hull display...then they give him a 3 year deal! they should have made him prove himself for a few months, whilst seeing who else was available

they spend money on the right things
when Tony Smith and Daniel Anderson left you didn't see Leeds and Saints gambling on an untested coach...they brought in the NZ coach and Potter who'd built a top3 side from almost scratch.

| Did anyone listen to Agar on Humberside, post match, is he a coach? Does he have any leadership? When asked what he was going to do he said he didn't know. The team are all hard workers and try their best but if Agar can't help them create ideas or get motivated there is no hope.

I listened to the KCFM interview. He was equally clueless on that one.

I've seen similar comments to this before on here and I don't understand TBH. We're playing almost exactly like ourselves last year, or have people erased that painful memory?
IMO Agar has pretty much continued as Peter Sharp left off, so to try and palm off the blame on Jon Sharp is a strange one.

I was told that Warrington expressed a bit of interest so Hull kind of panicked into getting him tied up. It was certainly a strange length of deal though.

| Hull should have gone for Potter, Murray or Folkes...pushed the boat out! I'm all for succession planning and the grooming of coaches but to do that you have to have to get the club culture and ethos right!
If you teach mediocrity and averageness then that is what you develop, it happened with Kear, now Agar and as we all suspect more than likely Sharp (if Agar goes). '"

As some of us suggested he would, only to be shouted down.
