Interviewed on an NRL chat show last night Sam Burgess said he, his brothers and his mum were all applying for Australian citizenship. Said he had no intention of returning to the UK to work or live post NRL. Asked who he would play for in the Origin matches he said NSW. Not asked whether he would choose Australia over England in International matches.
In a mock citizenship "test" he was asked who discovered Australia. Sam replied Christopher Columbus!

Since its only 'til the end of the season you'd think Saints or Leeds would be the favourites to sign him, with the injury to McGuire and Saints not having a half once O'Brien goes back to Warrington. |

Has anyone got Premier Player? I've left Uni and working hours aren't quite as NRL friendly as uni was! Is it worth it, and how long do games stay on demand for? Cheers.

Seven days, and you can go back and watch any game since the start of the season if you're willing to pay an extra £1 per month (as a subscriber to the TV channel). It's a brilliant service really, free for me (as a subscriber) and with AirPlay and Apple TV I don't have to pay for multi room.  |

Info from the St George club is that they will block any move for Soward to head for the Super League.
I have been offered a ticket for the sold out Manly v Bulldogs match tonight and will take it up. Saw Souths beat them at Brookvale but do not think the Bulldogs will do so. |

Just watched the Manly Vs Bulldogs game and thought Manly were hard done to today clearly Reynolds try was short and also i think he conned the ref by milking the decision in golden point.
