pretty much that City paying the SMC is just putting the same money in a different wallet, that if the Council lose control of the KC then he fears FC will be out. Basically said that, as a fan, he find the whole situation stupid, and as a Councillor he will raise it next week.

He was just shy of calling Allam a petty little cretin.

To be fair to him, he probably hasn't got a clue whats gone before him - I'm sure he said he's only heard about the situation "in the last few weeks" and I actually felt sorry for the guy for being chucked into something he obviously didn't have a clue about. I knew more about it then he did and was basically shouting as much in the car!! Shame on the Allams for being cowards and not coming onto the radio for themselves.

Interesting that neither of the Allams were willing to be interviewed live on Humberside and decided instead to send an employee of an associate company, who has only been in post for a matter of weeks, to speak on their behalf. Mike White tried his best but in reality, his producer should have said "that's not good enough, we want to speak to the engine driver, not the oily rag".

Time for the Council to face the Allam's down now. They should tell them in no uncertain terms that they will NEVER own the KC and surrounding land and that they will be ordering a forensic audit of the SMC and Hull City's accounts since the Allam takeover, if for no other reason than to reassure the citizens of Hull that they are ensuring good husbandry of their assets.

I agree, he should have known, he should have been fully briefed by the Allams before hand, instead, the Allams have sent someone who has only been in post for "a few weeks" (his words) and knows nothing about the workings of the agreement between the clubs and HCC. When asked why this hasn't been implimented for 10 years he just replied he didn't know. Just shows how little the Allams respect is when they allow their representative to speak without knowing about at least the agreement, let alone how long its been implimented for.
