As far as I remember, we were willing to but he wasn't happy to play second fiddle. I recall McRae saying he wanted to talk positions with Triester, seemingly hinting he could even have a shot in the halves.
I do think Moa should only be released for a player of Swain's stature though, otherwise it's not worthwhile IMO. |

Spot on. (although in regards to Treister he became a favourite of the fans because of his attitude but i dont think he was every that great a player) |

Moa may be 5th choice prop next year but with our injury record I would think it's a racing cert he'd be getting plenty of game time. If we have a beaten pack next year due to injuries it's just going to be more of the same.
He's also still young (23?). If we let him go he will be back to haunt us for the next 7 or 8 years. Unless we really have a corker lined up in the wings get him signed.
