Leeds with a population of 750K (and large conurbation areas) really should be getting far far more anyway. When you consider Hull's pop. is less than 250k and with little outlying populous you can see that rugby fans in Hull do turn out in numbers even on the back of 2 poor seasons.

Don't know where you got this figure from it is around 300k also the boundaries were changed years ago so the population seems smaller than it is. officially Hull is the 13th biggest city in the country, but unofficially its the 8th.
with a catchment area of over 1 million, so our high crowds are no supprise.

Leeds location helps with crowds. Only the Dobbins bring more than 2000 to KC. If we had the away numbers Leeds get every week, we would easily be the best supported team
