He actually got more game time than Martin, he just simply wasn't as good and hadn't improved his defence any since last year. Martin has the position on merit based on the games played so far, so I don't personally see how you can say

cant judge to much from pre season though at the end of the day its just a clash of opinions i personally think turner has great potential but needs time on the field to prove it in a league game. i can see why he is playing martin atm though more experience and better defence but i think i speak for every fc fan when the right side is something we need to improve drastically to be challenging at the top
i said i hope he picks the team on form yes but that doesnt mean i cant say id like to see turner ahead of martin thats my opinion id also like ellis or nicklas ahead of horne but doesnt mean it will happen just an opinion who i think gives more to the team
