Enjoyed the game today. When Hull played, they played really well. Horne showed his class, and a good run out for Turner - tidied up the play quite a bit when it got ragged. Hull were always in control, and were never in danger of losing. To be fair, most of Widnes's tries came courtesy of the ref and double penalties, which gave them good field position.
All in all a decent performance, and we're through to the next round.

agree, we never looked in any danger at any time, and never broke into a sweat to get 50 either!!

they second try was about 2 yards short plus the player bounded it
To be honest Hicks had a good game when he reffed Salford v Quins but today he was poor
he missed a lot trying to let the game flow

Did Turner ground the ball correctly, when he went over? We where at the other end of the stand, but it looked ok to us.
Deffo think their player was short and bounced it and that was right in front of us.

right in front of where we was sat, definate grounding of the ball, even the stewards shook their heads laughing when it wasn't given, poor decision by a ref who had a poor game imo

Definately wasn't short, we could see that from the other end. It was whether he had lost control. Still looked more of a try than Tyrer's effort tho
