Because he's not. He's happy with his family in Huddersfield and they have no desire to return to Hull. Huddersfield also don't require the money so a cash offer is pointless!!

How many years was Fitz here? Compare that to the number of seasons of Saxton and Dobson in the SL. Your comment is null and void.
Tommy Saxton > Michael Dobson.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

30566.jpg I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell:30566.jpg |
|
| Quote: Mrs Barista "It's "been". I wouldn't argue any such thing. Rovers fans were wetting themselves at your depth in the forwards in the off-season, and used the description "paper-thin" on multiple occasions, even Mild Rover himself IIRC, to describe our squad. Hardly surprising you'll finish 4th in that context.
You're very confident Rovers will be "rocking" next season, I see. Good. Why would Hudgell be cutting back on spending when the North will be open to deliver his 10k break even? Inconsistent.'"
Again, with AP signing players of world class calibre(his words not mine)you are more than likely to be stronger on paper than we will be next season. As MrPhilb pointed out, the game is won on the pitch and looking at our consistant appearances in the play-offs, we seemed to have faired far better than you guys over recent years.
You will never hear me knocking Ellis because I think he is a world class player but not sure how many games he has played this season, I know he has been out for a good while. Arundal has missed the majority of this season, again due to injury but Watts has had off field troubles and has just not been good enough to make the 17 on many occasions in the last 2 years to get into what some FC fan earlier described as a 's**t' HKR team.
The good thing about all this is that all the players are going to be fresh and ready to go.
IMO you guys have not strengthed, forget buying a world class S/R forward, your problem has and still is you have had no quality in halves for years, how the club have not recognised this, I have no idea.

| I think the club are trying to resolve the HB issue with upmost urgency tbh and if we could get someone like Brough or Holdsworth to be play alongside Seymour then we'll of massively improved over recent years

Since Rovers promotion, we've won a play-off game and so have you. We've also been to a major final. The big question is around the trajectories, ambitions and financial clout of the two clubs going forward. If our two chairmen's recent statements are to be believed, AP wants to really unlock our latent potential, and his articulation of his vision was apparently the tipping point for the aforementioned world class signing, Gareth Ellis. Hudgell is on record as saying Rovers are skint, will have to take backward steps and are unable to pay the market rate for players in many instances. It's all talk, isn't it? But as a fan, the mood music from FC is much more positive.
I'm not really sure what your point is on recruitment. Hull FC haven't finished yet AFAIK, but regardless of that, the landscape is fundamentally changing. Wigan in a scrap for Matty Smith to replace Thomas Leuleuia is the totem here. I'm confident AP won't sell us short in this environment. Selling the fans short, apart from things like announcing signings early (according to Hudge whenFC did it, now it's fine, apparently), would definitely include hiking ticket prices to watch a poorer quality squad, for example.

| Back to rumours please folks. Discussions of the relative merits of recruitment between us and Rovers - apart from being hopelessly premature and utterly pointless - need to be elsewhere.

Yep, AP has entered into an agreement with the Storm in which we both loan players to gain valuable experience. They're sending us Slater, Cronk, Smith & Manu. We're sending them Lynne, Horne, Ellis & Aspinwall.
