| Sezer was a strange one. I’d have preferred someone younger and missing out on a marquee like Lam was slightly underwhelming but he always had the qualities we needed. In a few years in SL before Hull Sezer was nominated for MOS and took his side to a GF. Even after a supposedly poor 2023 he still got an NRL gig and before SL he played 150 NRL games including a GF, there’s no way he was a bad player.
I cringe at Hull fans doing the same on social media but nowadays all fans seem to love to negatively rewrite history when players leave. According to Salford fans Cust and Borough were awful, Saints are doing the same with Batchelor. Watts has carried Cas for years and have no go forward without him but are apparently glad he’s gone. I just look at the stats rather than trust fans opinions.

| Mylers doing a good job overall but has made some mistakes in recruitment. I just don't think Bell is as good as some are making out, particularly if he does take our last non fed spot, which should have been used on a decent centre or half. Of course, we may be signing good quality players in those positions in which case it makes sense or Bell may, indeed be off quota. If not I'd rather we'd used that last quota spot somewhere else

| Every single DOR rugby or equivalent make mistakes, including the likes of Wigan and Rovers, you just have to get the main ones right, think Myler is doing that, particularly with the quota places.
Agree on Bell and the quota spot, but I guess that will have to be judged once recruitment is done, I like Bell though, very versatile and skillful, think he will be very good off the bench for us.
Those doubting Sezer maybe didn't watch him last season, he was good for Wests in a poor side, he has also adapted his game to be more of a controlling half.

| The only issue with sezer was his fitness. He seemed to miss most of his 2 years at Leeds due to injury and at his age it has to be a concern, however he seems pretty robust currently. I've been particularly impressed with his defence which isn't something you really notice when they play for the opposition

Said the same on Thursday, he reads the opposition attacks very well, shuts down plays with strong contact. Also been impressed with the way he injects himself into the line with the ball, shows a decent turn of pace. Got caught a few times on 4th tackle though.

| Sezers injury record wasn't too bad at Leeds, was much worst at Hudds.

Didn't he make the dream team while at Hudds.

Didn't he make the dream team while at Hudds. Yes, in 2020, his first year at the Giants. In 2021 he injured his ankle playing for the Combined Nations All Stars in the June and missed the rest of the season. He missed about ten weeks in 2022 for Leeds and in 2023 he played most weeks but missed the Grand Final due to a HIA after a high shot from John Bateman in the semi.

Very true and not the first time that FC have not fared well with poor officiating decisions. The mistakes to an extent aren’t the biggest issue for me it’s more the fact that they do not seem to learn from them, instead they continue to be made. It’s high time the RFL and officials were held more accountable for the poor performances that do and have hampered the sport. I know the officials have a difficult job but some of the errors and decisions are poor especially with the aid of VR. Apologies can only go so far before they are meaning less when changes and improvements are not made.
